1. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and service address.
• Booking and vehicle information, such as vehicle make, model, year, color, condition notes, service selections, add-ons, appointment date and time, parking and vehicle-location instructions, and access instructions.
• Payment and transaction information, such as service price, payment status, payment method, refund or credit history, and transaction identifiers. Card payments are processed by our payment processor; ANKA does not directly store complete payment-card numbers. If we accept Zelle by prior written arrangement, we may retain payment-confirmation information reasonably necessary for accounting, booking, and dispute-resolution purposes.
• Communications, such as messages, emails, SMS messages, phone calls, customer-service requests, feedback, reviews, and responses to our communications. Calls may be answered, recorded, or transcribed by an automated assistant or service provider. For example, ANKA may use an AI-enabled phone assistant or communications provider to answer calls, take messages, schedule or support appointments, create call transcripts, and route communications to ANKA personnel.
• Operational documentation, such as before, during, and after service photos or video of the vehicle, visible pre-existing condition, key handoff or return, service area, and completed work.
• Website and device information, such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring pages, and website interactions collected through cookies or similar technologies where used.
• Other information you choose to provide, including service priorities, special requests, or other information submitted through our website or communications.

Please do not send us home-entry codes, home-alarm codes, garage-alarm codes, complete payment-card information by text or email, or other information that is not needed for your appointment.

2. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

• Provide, schedule, confirm, perform, reschedule, and support our Services.
• Answer calls and messages; use service providers or automated assistants to receive, transcribe, summarize, route, and support communications; and provide customer service.
• Verify vehicle location, access, key handoff, service scope, and payment status.
• Process payments, refunds, credits, and approved transactions.
• Communicate about appointments, changes, service questions, customer support, and policy-related matters.
• Document vehicle condition, quality assurance, safety, insurance matters, chargebacks, payment disputes, and legal compliance.
• Improve our website, booking process, services, training, and customer experience.
• Protect ANKA, customers, technicians, vehicles, and property; prevent fraud, misuse, or unsafe activity; and enforce our policies.
• Comply with applicable legal, accounting, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations.
• Send marketing communications only as permitted by law and subject to available opt-out choices.

We process information only for purposes reasonably necessary and proportionate to provide the Services, operate our business, comply with law, and protect legitimate interests.

3. Operational photos and video

ANKA may collect before, during, and after service photos or video of the vehicle, visible pre-existing condition, key handoff or return, service area, and completed work. We use this operational documentation for service verification, quality assurance, safety, insurance, payment disputes, and legal compliance.

Operational documentation is not used for advertising, social media, or portfolio materials unless you provide separate, optional marketing consent. Marketing consent is not required to book or receive service. When marketing consent is given, ANKA will use reasonable efforts to avoid or obscure personally identifying details, including license plates where practical.

ANKA does not promise continuous recording of every service, customer access to all routine operational documentation on demand, or a fixed retention period for all records. We retain documentation as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to legal, insurance, accounting, dispute-resolution, and operational needs.

4. How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary:

• Service providers that help us operate our website, scheduling, communications, call answering, call recording or transcription, automated-assistant functions, payment processing, customer relationship management, hosting, analytics, insurance, accounting, or business operations.
• Payment providers and financial institutions to process payments, refunds, or payment disputes.
• Technicians and authorized personnel who need information to schedule or safely perform the confirmed service.
• Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, and legal representatives when needed for business, insurance, compliance, or dispute purposes.
• Government authorities, law enforcement, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, property, or security.
• A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising unless we clearly disclose that practice and provide any required opt-out choices.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website or service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, secure the booking process, understand website use, and improve performance. Wix Studio, Wix Bookings, Wix Payments, and other integrated Wix or third-party features may use cookies or similar technologies as part of providing website, booking, payment, security, and functionality services.

You may be able to control certain cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect website features or booking functionality. If we use analytics, advertising, or other technologies that create additional legal choices, we will provide appropriate notice and choice mechanisms where required.

6. Marketing communications

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP when that option is provided. Opting out of marketing messages does not prevent us from sending non-marketing messages necessary for an appointment, transaction, safety notice, policy update, or customer-service matter.

7. Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal or insurance obligations, and protect our business. Retention periods vary by the type of information and purpose of processing.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission, electronic storage system, or business process is completely secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information; to opt out of certain processing; or to appeal a decision regarding a privacy request.

To submit a privacy request, contact us at [privacy/contact email] or [phone number]. Please include your name, the contact information used with ANKA, the request you are making, and enough detail for us to identify the relevant records. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If we deny a privacy request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or contacting [privacy/contact email] with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal.” We will respond as required by applicable law. If your appeal is denied, you may have the right to contact the Nebraska Attorney General or another applicable regulator.

If ANKA processes personal information subject to the Nebraska Data Privacy Act or another applicable privacy law, we will honor applicable rights and opt-out requirements, including legally recognized universal opt-out mechanisms where required and technically feasible.

9. Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Third-party links and platforms

Our website may link to third-party websites, payment processors, booking tools, social-media platforms, review services, phone systems, or automated-assistant providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. ANKA is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on our website and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through another reasonable method when required by law.
